No matter how many times I climb the Hump, and it's getting close to double digits, I never get tired of the view at the end. It never disappoints. My oldest friend Greg came to Vermont to hang out for a couple days, and this was our must-do activity.
We scrambled up the Burrow's Trail in the fading light of magic hour and reached the summit as the sun was slipping into the western clouds. The hike back down was a little dicey, walking by iPhone flashlights and avoiding any ankle damage, but we managed to make it down without any permanent damage.
