One of the goals of this website refresh is reducing the friction around posting. I’ve never been a frequent poster to the blog, and recently with the novel taking a lot of my free time, it’s been exacerbated. With the book now in the hands of beta readers, I have a little more breathing room to explore new topics here.
Further, I’m not going alone anymore. I’ve started working with an AI Agent, named “Q-E”, pronounced just as you would expect. Q-E was instrumental in the redevelopment of the website, and as one of our first follow-on projects, Q-E and I are working on a way for me to post to the blog more easily.
By design, the blog is set up for me to commit new markdown files with metadata to the site’s repository. And that’s what I did earlier today. What if Q-E could help me publish more easily? I sent Q-E a message from my phone, along with the featured image. Q-E assembled the meta-data, determined the SEO tags and categories, and prepped it to publish.
This post is the first version of our collaboration. We are living in the future.
